      How exactly isn't it working? Are there any messages? Did you enter the command correctly letter-by-letter?

      Can you uncompress a single ecm file with ecm-uncompress followed by the file's name?

      @cnoto said in Playstation roms:

      @cnoto Actually I got it.

      … while I was typing my reply. 😉

      You could also convert the cue/bin files to one chd file and save some disk space along the way. I explained here how to do it on Retropie or any other Debian-based Linux. Its as easy as copying three comand lines to the console.

      @dankcushions Case solved. The log obviously does generate and the roms do work. It was just a bit embarassing mix-up on my end regarding file formats.

      There some games that doesn't work with the ir-pcsx-rearmed core. I think Psybadek is one of them.
      I was test it in a Pi 3 and it crash too.

      system_directory = "~/RetroPie/BIOS"

      That should be present in the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg file, which is included in the psx config - so you should check that file and maybe reset it to the default set by RetroPie.

      @mitu

      I try 3 games Final Fantasy VIII, XI and Metal Gear Solid with CD Access Method (Restart) set to synchronous. All games are with .M3U files and .CDx extentions . I use the new disk control menu.

      -All games are booting fine
      -I start all games from CD2 and when the game ask for CD1 the changes was succesfully
      -I use a save file in FF 8 and when the game ask for CD2 the change was succesfully
      -I try 3 times to change the disk without the game ask for this (it's not a normal condition) and i had a lock-up and 2 times a black screen(i choose reset from retroarch to get out from this)

      Generally, the fixed version working fine without the previous lock-ups during exit and during disk swapping.

      Thanks again!

      @Solid-One Thank you for your reply. It is interesting that you had no issue with the same game using an earlier version of RetroPie on a Raspberry Pi 2. I have submitted a report at https://github.com/libretro/pcsx_rearmed/issues/350 as you suggested.

      Thanks for the replies and the suggestions.

      As it seems, this capability is not difficult coding-wise, it just hasn't been implemented (yet).
      Until then, the easiest way still seems to load disks from the menu, it just takes a few seconds anyway :-)

      Maybe this helps someone.
      I had a similar issues on Rearmed core on RetroArch on the switch.
      The game would sometimes get stuck in a state if you pressed pause or inventory the game would freeze.
      It happened to me in certain sections of the game

      on a water level with crumble blocks above spikes after a slide (I somehow wondered back and did more things and I fixed it). on the last room of the barkhang monestary after putting in the prayer wheels. It forces you to put in an item and open up the inventory and freezes

      I did manage to save the game before this in the pause menu book (you have to do it before getting into that state where pause crashes the game). Copy the save file .srm, play it on PC (same emulator but x86) finish the level, save and reload onto switch (or your retropie).

      Sadly if you rebind quicksave and quickload not to pause the game as a workaround it will eventually force you to open the inventory and freeze the game.

      Not ideal but possible not to loose all progress and potentially keep playing on

      @niccco are you using the lr-pcsx or the regular version? lr- wants all lowercase, regular version uppercase. Also, the BIOS folder should be all caps. I learned that one the fun way when I spent several weeks tweaking an external HD from my computer and then plugged it in and so many things weren't working. (that's annoying because I'm pretty sure it's the only retropie folder like that).
